Charitable Work & Activism
Gregg Juke & The Mighty No-Stars are a professional performance group, but we
often find time to work on important charity projects that are meaningful to
members of the band. We believe in giving back to the community, lending a hand
when we can, and supporting causes and organizations that can affect positive
change in the world we all live in.
Collectively and individually, the No-Stars have worked with these charitable
organizations and agents of change (and many more; some of these groups have
even been formed or spearheaded by members of Your Mighty No-Stars!):
We have all recorded, performed, and sponsored many benefit and charity
projects over the years. While our performing, recording, and personal schedules
preclude us from becoming involved with or fulfilling every request we receive
for charity work or donating our time through benefit performances each year, we
are always willing to listen to a request from a well-organized group with a
good cause.
If you would like to discuss the possibility of a benefit performance or
other such charity involvement, please contact:
Before we can answer your request with a positive or negative response, we will
need details (your organization, how long it has been in existence, what the
donated proceeds will fund/support, the date or dates and times of your event,
what promotional and media support is available, and what, specifically, you'd
like Gregg Juke & The Mighty No-Stars to do for you; i.e., a benefit
performance, recording, judging a talent contest or event, etc.)
Once your request is in, we will be able to process it (check our band and
personal calendars, examine your event and our music for a "good fit," and talk
over some details with you).
Please understand, due to economics and limited
time, we can only perform a few benefits per year, and the band's schedule tends
to be booked six months to a year and a half in advance. If you believe that we
can all work together for something really positive, then get in touch and we'll
see what we can do.
